A colombian big family moves from their country house into the city due to economical problems. The husband is obsessed with pursuing the american dream so he decides to enter the USA illegally, as his sister in law did, while leaving his wife and son in their country. However, things don't work out as expected and the whole family becomes divided due to their opinions on the american dream.
